Our June meeting will take place over Zoom and our speaker will be Dr. John Oliffe who will talk about mental health and prostate cancer.

Dr. John Oliffe is a Professor at the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia. As founder and lead investigator of UBC’s Men’s Health Research program, his work focuses on masculinities as it influences psychosocial prostate cancer, male depression and suicide and smoking cessation amongst fathers. Findings drawn from his research offer guidance to clinicians and researchers and have informed the design of men’s community-based and e-health programs.
